Shell construction
In-Mould intelligent Fusion construction - exclusive technology developed by engineers by MET. In-mould construction involves fusing together in the same matrix the two parts of the helmet shell (the interior which is generally black or grey polystyrene and the coloured polycarbonate exterior) during the moulding process. This construction technique provides better shock-absorption results than the Twin-Shell at equivalent volume and material density
Fit system
Safe-T e-Twist - exclusive technology developed by MET. Occipital retention system. Its role is to ensure that the helmet is held firmly on the head. There is a dial at the back of the helmet for easy one-hand size adjustment. The internal mechanism was designed for precision and reliability. For greater visibility at night or in tunnels, a LED light, which is easy to press on, is integrated into the central dial adjuster
Anti-allergenic interior pads - vitally important for helmet comfort. Only anti-allergenic fabric is used to vary the thickness according to the position in the helmet
Strong-fit lateral dividers - for a helmet to be fully protective, it must be adjusted to fit securely. It must also remain secure whilst being used. Lockable lateral dividers are where the front and back straps meet. Positioning them correctly, in other words just under the ears, then blocking them in the chosen position is child's play
Anti-pinch buckle - making it easy for young kids to learn to ride a bike and then use it regularly is one of MET's priorities. By analysing their children's behaviour, MET's engineers and designers use their everyday experience as cyclists and parents for inspiration to constantly improve the little details that make such a big difference. The buckle which closes the strap system under the chin has been designed to avoid any pinching, even when used clumsily
Removable visor - used to protect the face and especially the eyes from branches, sun or, in bad weather, against mud flicked up by bikes in front
Safety Approval
Certified EN 1078 and AS/NZS2063
Extra Features
Anti-insect net - prevents insects from entering the helmet through the front air intakes and thus reduces the risk of stings. Reflective rear stickers - being visible is essential to the safety of a cyclist. At night or in tunnels, the reflective sticker places at the back of the helmet makes the bike visible to drivers approaching from behind
Hand washable pads
